As some of you may know, our partnership with Breathe Outdoors in Edmonton and Calgary sadly came to an end this summer when Breathe Outdoors announced they would be ceasing operations and closing their stores – in person and online. What can we say? It’s a really challenging landscape for independent outdoor retailers at the moment. While we are hopeful to find a new independent dealer to serve as our home-away-from-home in Alberta, we’ve reached a solution in the meantime.
Moving forward we will be serving paddlers in Alberta via direct shipping to Edmonton and Calgary. We’ve partnered with a local transport company to serve these centers with a monthly westbound shipment at a competitive rate.
